Sorry I can't really control my car too well in this game but a steering wheel is an ABSOLUTE NECESSITY. This black-and-white fixed screen, fixed track racer is the first in a number of "Sprint"-titled racers, each with cool features (back in the day) like selectable tracks (Sprint 2) or tracks that change while you drive them (Sprint 1). Strange how the first game in the series has a "2" in the title; that just indicates 2-player simultaneous play (optional). In that case, the 2nd player is the black car (you're the white). Kee Games was founded by Joe Keenan ("Kee" in Kee Games) and was actually though to be a competitor to Atari, but they were actually a subsidiary of Atari. Anway, Sprint 2 is a simple fixed-track black and white game where you try to accrue as much points as possible before your 100 seconds elapse-- pass a certain amount of points (depends on the track you select) and you are awarded an extra 30 seconds of time. Rankings are given for your scoring ability in the titles of: Granny, Rookie, Pro and Ace. If you play Sprint 2, MAKE SURE YOU USE A STEERING WHEEL! Oh, and don't stick to the 1st or 2nd gear (out of 4) or you'll never meet the "extend time" criteria. And, watch out for oil slicks, the walls, and other racers-- they slow you down big time!
