Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!: Part 32: Ripto's Swan Song (Final Boss & Credits)
15At this point, I've gotten all 64 Orbs in this whole game! I actually could've just went straight to the final boss as soon as I arrived in Winter Tundra, but I wanted to get all of the Orbs first.
The door to Ripto's lair opens as soon as you talk to Elora waiting there. Past that door should be the last few Gems in this game, giving me 6,000 Gems!

You can't fight Ripto head on by yourself, so before the final battle begins, Zoe explains that the Orbs you collected can be powered up. Hunter will fly in and drop red, blue, & green orbs that Spyro can pick up and hurt Ripto with, but be careful as Ripto can do the same.
No matter how many Super Orbs you pick up in threes, the powerup you get is always based on the last one out if those 3:
- Red is Superflame. It's the same as before, but it comes and goes pretty fast.
- Blue is Supercharge. Spyro turns blue and can Supercharge as long as he does, kinda like in the Speedway levels.
- Green is a new exclusive powerup called Plasma Bombs that lets Spyro shoot green bombs in an arc.
After Spyro brings Ripto's health down enough, he'll create a Mecha-Gulp to ride on, and he has his own Super Orb attacks. Just keep attacking him with yours to blow him up.
In the third and final phase of this fight, Ripto creates a mechanical pterodactyl from a yellow Super Orb to ride on and cover the arena in lava. Spyro can use this same orb to gain a permanent Superflame/Superfly combination powerup. Use this powerup to shoot at Ripto until he's knocked out of the sky and into the lava...
Thus, Ripto's Rage has ended!

The Power Crystal Spyro took back from Ripto merges with his Guidebook, liberating Winter Tundra of Ripto's influence and saving Avalar once and for all.
Spyro the Dragon, and Sparx the Dragonfly, meet up with Elora the Faun, Hunter the Cheetah, the Professor, and Moneybags back at the Superportal to Dragon Shores to see him off. Elora even gives Spyro a kiss.
At the same time, she and Hunter force Moneybags to give back the Gems he swindled from Spyro this whole time. He took 4,000 Gems, which means this game's grand total is actually 10,000 Gems!
Needing to clean up all of Ripto's mess in
Avalar, Spyro hurries in with Spark to the place they want to go to from the very start: Dragon Shores!

The credits them start rolling, going through several of the game's levels to the same credits theme as the one used for the first game.
The game may have been beaten, but there's still a bit more I can do! Wait and see what I can do in Dragon Shores!
