Spyro the Dragon: Part 16: Supercharing in Wizard Peak
Wizard Peak is one of my favorite levels in this game. If you listen carefully, you can hear the theme of The Amanda Show!
--------------
At the start, before you go through the buildings, make you glide to the left so you can travel alongside the outside of them. That way, you'll find more treasure there and even get to kill the enemies you wouldn't have reached if you went inside first.
The main reason this is my favorite is because of the Supercharging you can do here. Again, it make Spyro channel his inner hedgehog to ram down even big foes at incredible speeds. I even Supercharged into the level to highlight this.
If you can run down a Supercharge path while already Supercharged, Spyro's dust will change from white to yellow to orange, where he'll be at his fastest, and he'll be able to make make his biggest jumps. You're gonna need those jumps to reach some of the island towers, here.
--------------
The dragons you find here are:
Jarvis: An orange dragon that welcomes you to the level, and tells you that you can Supercharge through the big wizards. He likes this level just like I do.
Hexus: A dragon who looks JUST LIKE Jarvis. "THANK YOU FOR RELEASING ME!" said Hexus with an old, gruff voice.
Lucas: A thinner, tan dragon that thankfully doesn't look like the first two. He explains to Spyro that there's a secret level in the waterfall area of the Artisans' Homeworld, and that the stones may reveal it. If you checked one of my previous videos of this game, you'd know that this secret leads to Sunny Flight.
--------------
There are two blue thieves here, both of them having the last two dragon eggs of the game. One of them is hiding behind a wall on an island tower, so when you find him, he'll make absolutely no effort to run away from you. He'll taunt you like usual, but he will never, EVER, run away, because where's he gonna go?!
The 2nd thief is near the Exit Vortex, who runs around a small pool. He's not much harder to kill compared to the first one, but at least he tries to run.
--------------
Watch out for a clip skip at 5:35. I think this is the last time I had this happen to me while recording this video, since from this point on, I recorded each level separately, rather than having 2 or 3 of them in the same video, then splitting them up manually.
