Unless you're Super Knuckles, going through Metropolis Zone is no easier with him than it is with Sonic. It may even be harder since Knuckles can't jump as high.

That will be really annoying when you have to fight Eggman in this zone. I like how I was able to pop his last balloon right before Knuckles turned back to normal, though.
