(After a pre-recording test, I have indeed concluded that the Super sprite issue *is* in fact the game itself.)

So if you decided to go to Sky Tower right after The Base, then the final boss will be the Shadow Hands. Personally, I prefer this one because Merkabah II is a banger. It's kinda similar to Phase 3 of Metal Nemesis in which you have to deal with the two arms off to the side before you can go after the chief dude. Unlike with that fight however, the main hand can actually attack. The most dickish of its attacks is Shadow Laser since that can crit. But once you deal with the two hands, it starts to play out similarly to Ameno-Sagiri in which you damage it to get the Emeralds, and then turn Super. But now that I realized it: If you still turn Super, then what was the point of making two final bosses? And according to the story, this thing is apparently what Eggman Nega wanted too?
