The Subspace Emissary - The Great Maze (Part 6)

This video does the following:
Dark Fox, Meta Ridley, Dark Mario

Good lord not too much progress on this part. Another Continue to boot making this a real kicker.

Snake vs Dark Fox. It looks like the AI doesn't like it too much when I duck and crawl underneath the projectiles. This fight wasn't too bad but fooling around could mean a quick K.O.

Back out in the swamp area. As soon as you leave that door, just take the cannon to the right, it sends you on a high trip back to the middle door (extra style points for Snake upon landing that flight!)

Unfortunately more mistakes are made. An Auto Lance which I haven't seen for awhile, was the cause of Snakes KO. Great. I Use LUcap-- I mean Lucas to take on Meta Ridley.

This fight is really not that hard, but you can rack up damage % very easily. When Meta Ridley sticks on the left side of the ship, you can knock him off. But for some reason, he took two full smash attacks to the face and wouldn't let go!

Which mean Lucas eats an 88% Damage Fire Shpere straight from Ridley's mouth. Ouch.... Peach takes care of the rest with floating.

This will lead back to the 3rd Crystal Quadrant. I previously went down, so this time I float over to the left (after recovering of course).

Dark Mario. I was going to say how Ironic the fight was, but I think that would only be true if I was Mario. Something of a long fight with no real ownage, just lots of dodging and hits on both sides. A bomb-omb to finish this off.

Music used here is cool remix of that SMB2 underground theme. Yeah that one where you are digging through the sand-- that one. Very nice it fit this area (I didn't want to use that generic Subspace Desert Stage Music, ugh.)

Actually this part is taken straight from the wastelands stage. After uslessly grabbing a hammer I carefully ascend a chasm full of boulders carelessly tumbling above. These hurt like heck on Intense so you watch where the dust first shows up, then steer clear to let the boulder fall down. Thanks goodness for those ledges. After you are done with that you run into a really tall standing Gamyga Base. Because of the uneven ground, you have to smash it down to pass. Thank goodness a Hammer Bro dropped a Fire Cracker. Another dumb mistake here as I take like 50% damage from stupid Buculuss. I went down because these guys can drop a Maximum Tomato after clinging to you once (which didn't happen here damn).

Here where is starts getting worse this part. As soon as I enter, a Roturret KO's Peach like nothing. I just plain ignore the enemies here because those spike traps on the left really hurt.

Let's see. I nearly suicide as Pit missig an Armite but you hit that part where you have to smash the objects through the pillars.

Galleom. God damn did I ever suck it up. As soon at the battle starts, BAM, Pit's gone. Snake just barley gets nicked by the charge attack from behind (wth?). And Lucas gets KO'ed after the effects of a Super Mushroom wear off...

Continue # 2 - DAM!
