Tae Hoon showcases a web application, where users can search locations and find free wifi zones in that locations. He used Javascript, jQuery, HTML and CSS to build this web application. He used Google Map API and Free Wifi Location data from NYC Open Data. Once users type in the name of the location or actual address in the search bar, the application will show inputted location on the Google map with red marker and receive corresponding wifi location data from the NYC Open Data source and render free wifi zones near the inputted location on the map in blue wifi markers. Search histories will be saved in the local storage and will be rendered on the page in the order of most recent search.
