Using semantic matching technology from startup Cortical.io, city and neighborhood from the Neighborland API, and full articles from Wikipedia, Jessica Blake created an automated neighborhood recommendation engine. The application accepts freeform natural language input from its users, and provides neighborhood recommendations based on semantic similarity between the neighborhood descriptions and the user’s criteria.
