In this segment I'll show you how to massively upgrade your characters' weapons on Disc 1. This includes creating the Eternal Sphere, which will carry Claude through the rest of the run. The Eternal Sphere changes the entire complexion of the game, almost outright removing more than half of the bosses as obstacles, including most of the Cave of Trials bosses. If there is a single item in the game that you shouldn't miss, this is the one.

I'll also show you the paths to create ultimate weapons for your other characters (though some of these will eventually be replaced by story progression or Cave of Trials gear). Most of these should be considered optional, but it should hopefully give you a better understanding of the game's Customize engine. If you don't want to spend too much time or Skill Points on Customize, then craft two Silvance for Dias and Claude. This only requires getting Claude to level 7 Customize and will be adequate to get you to Disc 2, where Orchestra will make all other weapons much easier.
