Star Trek Version 1.4 (Stern) Pinball Preview
6From New York's own Modern Pinball here's a look at Stern Pinball's Star Trek Pro running on Version 1.4 software. The first time I took a video of the machine it was running on very basic code and then a week after I posted the video it got updated. As of right now we're still waiting on the "Power Pack Update" that will add Karl Urban as Bones to the game with custom speech and some changes to the rules.
As of right now the game still plays super fast, like many of Steve Richie's other games. Trying to time the upper loop Warp shot is still a challenge to me while I've seen players quickly max it out. Since the last video I took of the game they've added in a new Super Skill Shot by holding down the left flipper and launching the ball. Hitting the right ramp will give you an extra bonus.
The scoring has been getting a ton of adjustments. I'm still unclear on how everything is supposed to work, but from what I've seen if you complete a row of objectives your rewarded Super Lanes, Super Jets and other bonuses.
