Jedi: Fallen Order came out a year ago and I'm finally around to giving my opinion on it. A new single player Star Wars game has been one of my biggest video game desires in a decade. The journey I’ve been on with Jedi Fallen Order has led me to the belief that JFO (and Star Wars in general) excels at speaking with its own unique voice while rarely having anything original to say.

That’s a beautiful revelation to have. Star Wars is not original in the slightest. But it has its own authentic voice. Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order doesn’t hide its influences. Respawn are openly embracing the language of Star Wars. Every time I saw or heard or read something which connected me more to the Star Wars universe, I liked Fallen Order more.
