Edutainment is something I've always had a fascination with, but I never really experienced as a child. The only one I ended up playing was Math Circus, and I'm pretty sure they had that at like every grade when I was in school. I assume it must have been a huge craze since, well, there's these Star Wars ones. It's actually so vast with how many they have. They had their own company called Lucas Learning Ltd. This entry, Star Wars Droidworks, was one that stuck out to me the most. Physics was the science topic I was most interested in when I was in high school, and I took a few courses in university. I imagine that this would have been perfect for me to play in school back then. There had to be some quality in this too, at least for edutainment standards, since it was using the same engine as in Dark Forces 2. The highlight however doesn't come from the physics angle, but that it's a droid builder, and at that point I knew I had to get into it. I assume most of you that are watching this played this as a kid, so I try to answer this question. Is this fun to play now? Or would nostalgia be the only reason for one to try this. Find out here.
