--THE BLURB--
Nothing makes a finale like an overly long lightsaber sequence, which is why today's finale of Normal Video Game Review Show is about three-quarters lightsabering. It's an apt style of episode considering our game of the day is STAR WARS THE OLD REPUBLIC, the Bioware MMO that brought Knights of the Old Republic to multiplayer form.
This game came out in 2011, which makes 2019 the perfect time to create a review for new players that only covers the basics and not much else. NVGRS creator Duncan actually played this game back when it came out (and played the beta, too), so this was one of those blasts from the past for him. He was an imperial sniper, and enjoyed the game for the first few planets and that's about it.
But now it's the future, and we're older, wiser. We're back in SWTOR to see what it's like after so many years, and also, as an excuse to have an epic lightsabery showdown between our Host and a cardboard robot called Ass-Mo.
Let's see who wins.
--WHAT IS NVGRS?--
Normal Video Game Review Show is the internet's favourite story-based video game review show titled Normal Video Game Review Show. The show centres on the Host, who many weeks ago sought YouTube fame and glory by finding sponsorship for his web series. However, over the course of nine episodes things went catastrophically wrong, culminating in the death of his co-host Points Squid and the events that led to episode 10 - namely, the Host being fired from his own show.
