I thought up this strategy to attempt to solo this week's mutation on Brutal. I will use Vorazun's Dark Templar to snipe the Thrashers during time stops and use my ally basically just to defend and saturate a third base.

I asked my ally to use Karax and put all his points on:
Power set 1: Structure health and shields
Power set 2: Repair beam healing rate
Power set 3: Chrono boost efficiency

I cannot use his Spear of Adun, so I just went for the stuff that didn't need it.

I myself shoved all my points on:
Power set 1: Dark pylon range
Power set 2: Time stop unit speed increase
Power set 3: Spear of Adun initial and max energy

This is my second attempt. I sort of just quit the first one since I got Void Rifts right away, and the rifts don't actually disappear at the end of the mutation. We'll see how this goes!
