Stardew Valley 84 :: Qi Wants Us to Go Mining Again
Today is a sunny Monday! The special orders board and Mister Qi's quests both reset today, and we head to each of them to pick up a new quest!
Our Coffee and Strawberries are done! In fact, almost all our crops have matured except for the 50 Cauliflowers. We spend half of the morning picking fresh produce on the farm, and dealing with the animals. A short trip to Pierre's allows us to replant the potatoes.
In Pelican Town, we encounter a cutscene in Gus' Saloon where his serves up his famous omelette made with our farm-fresh eggs! We pick up a special order for Evelyn, who wants the town to remind George how loved he is with 12 Leeks. Jokes on you Evelyn, because only the town's most productive resident is going to get those Leeks for your husband!
No snake bones on Ginger Island (only Mixed Seeds... 15:44), but we collect some fresh tropical fruits, mussels and speak with some villagers at the resort! Mayor Lewis is only concerned about money and his moustache, as usual.
Mister Qi offers the same quests that he did a week ago! Ehh... We pick up the Skull Cavern Invasion quest for some variety, even though it seems more difficult and less rewarding than Danger In The Deep. For Skull Cavern, we have to make it to level 100 in a single day, since there are no elevators to save our progress.
We spend some time in the volcano mines for ore and stone, before using the Farm Obelisk to return to Stardew Valley. We check for Leeks at the backwoods, but seems there are none. That's okay, we should be able to complete the quest with Spring Seeds anyway!
