Starfield - How to Find Resources on Planets - Super Easy Guide
1Wazzup Everyone, Welcome back to another guide on how to find traits on planets in starfield.
Firstly, travel to any planet you want. For this video, I'm on planet Andraphon in the Narion System. Press "R" on your keyboard to show the resources available on the planet. On this one, we have Helium, Aluminum, Iron, Beryllium, and Europium. Now, land on the Andraphon planet, and let's see how to find traits on planets in the starfield.
The first thing you have to do is press "F" on your keyboard to open your scanner. You need to look for areas where you see that they are kind of glowing. Once you place your scanner there, you will see which trait it is. The first one I found on this planet was Iron. So, press "E" on your keyboard to scan it, and you will see that your survey will be updated to 3 out of 5. Keep scanning around until you have found all the traits on this planet and basically keep repeating the same process. Once you've found a new resource, scan it by pressing "E" on your keyboard. You can also look for icons that say "unknown"; follow those, as they usually lead you to something new.
As I mentioned before, you can scan any planet you want. For instance, let's go to the Magreth planet, still in the Narion System. Choose a random spot to land by clicking on the planet. Once you have landed, just press "F" on your keyboard to start scanning, and then press "E" on your keyboard once you've found your resource. There are only 3 on this planet, so it was very quick to complete the survey.
