Wazzup Everyone, Welcome Back to another quick and easy Starfield Guide!

today I've got a quick guide for you in Starfield on how to disable ship engines and target specific parts of enemy ships. I thought I had covered this before, but it seems I haven't, so let's dive right in.

All you need to do is acquire the 'Targeting Control System' skill in the tech tree. It's just a level one skill, costing only one skill point. Feel free to customize your skills as you like; this one's essential for what we're about to do.

IF that's your first time doing it, set the game difficulty to 'Very Easy to help you out.

Now, let's get to the action. First things first, get up close and personal with that enemy ship so you can actually target it. Once you've got that skill unlocked, it's showtime. Aim your reticle right at the enemy ship, and initiate the lock-on process by hitting 'E' on your PC or 'A' if you're repping Xbox.

Once that target's locked in, hit 'R' on PC or 'X' on Xbox. Prepare to be amazed because the view zooms in on the ship, and time takes a chill pill. Now, you've got some choice. Use your arrow keys on PC or the left stick on Xbox to pinpoint the ship's engine.

Now, unleash your ballistics or lasers as usual, and watch the magic happen – they're gonna make a beeline straight for those engines you selected.
