Starfield - How to Rename Ships, Change Ships and Sell Ships - Super Easy Guide
1Wazzup everyone, Welcome back to another starfield field guide on how to change ships, rename them, and, of course, sell them as well.
First off, you've got to find one of those ship services technicians. They're basically your one-stop-shop for all things ship-related. As I mentioned before, they're scattered across various planets in the Starfield universe. Right now, I'm here in New Atlantis, and all you have to do is walk towards that ship technician right there!
Once you've tracked down a friendly technician, strike up a conversation. When you're in the conversation with the technician, look for the option "I'd like to view and modify my ships."
Now, all you've got to do is click on the arrows at the top right here to change ships in Starfield, or you can also press T or Q on your keyboard.
To change your ship's name, it's quite easy as well. All you have to do is either click on the ship builder option right here or press B on your keyboard. Once inside the ship builders, look for the flight deck options right here. Click on it or just press C on your keyboard. Now, at the bottom right of your screen, click on "Rename ship" right here, or press G on your keyboard. Click "Rename" or press G once again, choose the name you want, and confirm it. That's pretty much it.
Now, if you want to sell some of your ships, talk to the ship technician again, and this time choose the option "Let me see what ships you have for sale." Now, all you've got to do is click on the sell button right here. Just a heads up, you cannot sell your home ship. So, let's choose another one. Once you've chosen one, press enter or click on the sell option, then confirm it.
