Starfield - How to Target Ship Engines and Disable Ship Systems - Easy Guide
Wazzup Everyone, Welcome Back to another quick and easy Starfield Guide!
today I've got a quick guide for you in Starfield on how to disable ship engines and target specific parts of enemy ships. I thought I had covered this before, but it seems I haven't, so let's dive right in.
All you need to do is acquire the 'Targeting Control System' skill in the tech tree. It's just a level one skill, costing only one skill point. Feel free to customize your skills as you like; this one's essential for what we're about to do.
If that's your first time doing it, set the game difficulty to 'Very Easy to help you out.
Get close enough to the enemy ship so you can target it. Make sure to press 'B' to clear any previous targeting options.
Then, Press the button 'E' to lock onto the enemy ship. When it locks on, the target will turn red.
Finally, press R, and you'll get a menu to pick which part of the enemy ship you want to aim at. This is where you can disable their engines, weapons, and more.
