How to Store Items on Ship in Starfield - Quick Guide
1Wazzup Everyone, Welcome back to another quick starfield guide on how to store items in your ship.
Now, let's go straight to your ship. Upon entering your starship, you'll be presented with a choice to either proceed to the cockpit or board the ship. Let's go to the captain's locker first, to do that just simply press the 'E' key on your keyboard.
Just keep walking straight ahead and on your right hand side you will spot the captain's locker right here.
To access the Captain's Locker, simply press 'E' to retrieve items from it or 'R' to deposit items into this secure storage space. So, let's choose some items to store in the captain's locker. Once you are in the main menu, press Q on your keyboard to access your inventory, then once you've selected the items you want to store, just press E on your keyboard to store. You can that for all items your want to store in the locker. If you want to switch back to check your captain's locker inventory, just press Q on your keyboard again, or click on the captain's locker button.
Now, let's keep it moving straight ahead kind of like you were going to the pilot seat. On your left-hand side, you'll come across what resembles a compact computer console. This is, in fact, your ship's cargo hold.
Within the cargo hold, you'll encounter the same options as the ones you had with the captain's locker. "Take Items" and "Transfer Items." You can access these options by pressing 'E' to take items from the cargo hold or 'R' to transfer items into it.
Within the main menu, you'll find the ability to seamlessly switch between your personal inventory and the cargo hold's inventory. To initiate this process, simply press 'R' on your keyboard to access the menu.
Now, the process is quite straightforward: select the items you wish to store in the cargo hold, specify the desired quantities, and press 'E' on your keyboard or click on the 'Store' button. For a quick check of your starship's inventory, you can also click on your ship's name or Q on your keyboard.
