The Master Knight has, for the time being, managed to escape the Hyphy Movement, the San Francisco Bay Area residents who prove that it doesn't deserve to be called the "Yay Area", the shallow girls who would say "wanna suck my pee" just to mock him, and the Oakland rioters. However, as he soon discovers, his escape route is patrolled by a big monster. He decides to try to sneak by quietly while it prepares to eat its current meal--a boar--but he hears a sound from behind and ducks--and the attack, in the form of a hatchet, hits the boar and knocks it away. He then sees the hatchet return to a troll, who must have been the one who threw the hatchet, and who quickly disappears, leaving the Master Knight alone with the now upset monster. The Master Knight must now defeat this monster to escape....

(Yum-Yum is the easiest boss in the game, providing you don't hit the boar right next to him. If you do, he'll be angry and attack you with twice the aggression, which causes his difficulty to go way up, quite possibly surpassing the Dragon's (the literal one, although the game's villain doesn't have a 2IC...or does he?), because he'll throw twice as many of his bubbles at you. He pauses with the attacks only on every 3 of his steps, which leaves no room for utterly careless spamming. You don't fight turbo Yum-Yum during the boss rush in Chapter 9, and you have a lot more to fight him with then anyway--including longer range weapons for one thing. The axe and its range of 3 spaces barely lets you hit him when he's in his front row, so if you want to hit him then you're going to have to move close where you're even easier to hit with the bubbles.)

(And, of course, if you're not going for no damage but just for killing turbo Yum-Yum with just the axe, you probably won't have it much easier than I did, because if you get hit, you flinch, which means not only does your attack get interrupted, but you don't get to anything further until the end of the Mercy Invincibility. Which is short, but that's a double-edged sword because that means you can take another hit right as the Mercy Invincibility ends. And on top of that, you have only 5 Hearts with Yum-Yum taking off 1 Heart each time you get hit. Meanwhile, Yum-Yum takes 30 hits to kill, so if you don't hit him multiple times in each pass, it increases the time you take, but trying to attack him multiple times at once is dangerous because your attacks are a bit laggy, on top of the poor momentum of your jumps just for icing on the cake.)

(So what did I do? Pattern recognition and AI manipulation. This let me recognize how to attack him from each side while dodging the bubbles. Dodging the bubbles is still kind of difficult, but what I did helped me out a lot in doing this, since I would know when to move in from the distance and attack, as well as how to dodge those bubbles. This allowed me to get 2-4 hits on the guy on each pass, providing me the much needed oomph to take him down before he got tiresome.)
