In this episode, we start building a tree house! Boppy likes tree houses. Everyone likes tree houses!

And we also get all up in the indigenous humanoid's faces, attack their village, probably kill their chillins, pee on their front yard and rescue a couple of totally useless Martian humans who they were probably just going to talk to. Or bring to dinner. Or have for dinner. In any case, they might be useless whiny Martian-born human NPC's, but they are OUR useless whiny Martian-born human NPC's, so the tall boys gotta die. Death toll: around 10 dead natives, 0 dead humans (unless you count my 1 revive). Cannons were involved. Lots of cannons.

Ah, just found out that the natives have a name, the Reuzen. Sounds like a throat lozenge.

I need to find out how they spell that so I can put it on their tombstones. Oh wait, there are no tombstones. The clown dogs tend to the final arrangements. ;)

From the coming attractions, it seems they have some mix of primitive tech (their rifles and villages) and advanced tech (robots and fliers), suggesting that they used to be a technologically advanced species but for whatever reason are on the decline, using the leftover tech of their ancestors.

Planet Explorers is a new indie game in alpha development, with a free demo available for download. If you want to see more of this (and it looks and plays f'n awesome), support it!
