Steam Networking abuse - Random creepy people joining my local CS Source server
I created a local server from the Create Server menu in order to load my custom test map to test something in my CS Source mod. Then all of the sudden a person without a name connected, and joined the opposite team. This person had a creepy profile picture and after I sent some messages in chat they wanted me to enable sv_alltalk 1. They wandered around the map and acted like a real person. Then somebody named C-E-L-L-O joined my team. Steam Networking was enabled. I have had another incident like this recently with random people joining my server with Steam Networking, with names such as "sad.exe" and "slav.sim", however this time they managed to join a team. Is this some sort of Steam Networking exploit? These guys also likely have my test map as well, which I personally don't care if it leaks.
UPDATE: I found out that servers with Steam Networking are basically public, so what you're seeing here is this feature being abused to mess with people.
