Steganography - Hiding Data inside Pictures or Sound files
A picture doesn't just paint a 1000 words, it can also hide a 1000 words. An Introduction to Steganography, a method of hiding documents within Photos or Audio files in such a way that the original file looks unchanged.
In this video I show a full copy of Shakespeare's Macbeth being hidden inside a Photograph using a program called Steghide.
Steghide is a Linux steganography program which is able to hide data within Pictures or Sound files without changing colours / sample frequencies. Formats supported: Bitmap, JPEG, Wave (BMP, JPG, WAV, and AU)
Hidden data can be encrypted and password protected.
