Stellaris Let's Play Part 33 - The Home Front - LP Hyperspace Space Grand Strategy
Welcome back to the now at peace galaxy of Stellaris, where the Ashen Collective now stands as the strongest non Fallen Empire. And even then, we're catching up with our fallen friends. It will be interesting to see how far we can push this save, despite being hampered by some bugs that come from pre-release.
I feel like we've hit the climax of the series by taking out the Unbidden. Now for the falling action. And for those of you who were never in my English class once upon a time, the falling action is where all the interesting stuff takes place. Allegedly.
This series of Stellaris is a full play through at 1080p 60fps, starting with the .9 pre-release version of the game and transitioning into 1.1. The Ashen Collective is a Fanatically Spiritual yet Collectivist Theocratic Oligarchy. Everyone knows who the big boss is beneath the home world. Those who dare to defy him shall know eternal torment.
The pre-release version was provided to me by Paradox Interactive after I contacted them directly (and after I had pre-ordered the game myself). This Let's Play series is to be taken as sharing enjoyment of the game with all of you, and not as a review and not as paid, solicited content as directed by the game's publisher.
Feel free to remind me if I missed anything. And as always, if you want to know more, feel free to ask in the comments.
Want to purchase Stellaris? The game is available on Steam, or you can purchase directly from the developer here: https://www.paradoxplaza.com/stellaris
What is Stellaris: a grand strategy game with 4x elements set in Space developed by Paradox Development Studio and Paradox Interactive. Set for the stars with your newly minted FTL drive and explore a very crowded galaxy. The game truly starts to shine once borders are established and intrigue between space empires begins. Playing a lot more like Europa Universalis IV, you are tasked with managing your empire, maintaining the happiness of diverse populations over your may different planets, researching key technologies along the way, and not pissing off various fallen empires and succumbing to inevitable space disasters. Because the galaxy is dangerous. And not just because of friendship.
