this isn't easy (mode).

a successful run of getting Vier for the first time and an intentionally failed run to compensate.

while reaching Rank 4-EX in itself is straightforward, trying to survive through the whole shenanigans is one thing that fears me before i could even reach Vier.

this isn't really a blind playthrough, since i've watched some of other people replays of them clearing Vier countless times already, i dreamed about reaching Vier someday and here it is, although i'm far from trying to clear the run anytime soon, if you know why.

Vier is ultimately the most intimitating boss to fight, just attempting to do anything and have no idea what i was supposed to do without practice, this here is still impossible, i'll be seeing her at only this moment until i grinded enough coins to buy her, i've achieved my goal and i'll continue to grind the game even without having playing much of Nightmare or Pandemonium difficulty yet.

for the routes, it really does seems so messy starting off with once RANK-EX condition has been activated lol, stage 6 and stage 7 is where i stop risking myself saving bombs and glass cannon through the whole run, there is a lot of panicking moments after i got hit.

practice took me around 2-3 weeks from on and off grinds, i didn't wanna take away the opportunity to unlock her and i was always motivated to try to reach her in the easiest difficulty (not).

little explanation here:
i set my shot options to Laser/Full-Auto, Full-Auto makes the game a bit easier, it removes the cooldown time for discharge everytime you use it, so you don't have to be constantly relying on stop shooting for a moment like the default option to let the cooldown time discharge bar to fill up, you can spam it at any given situation where suicide bullets start to overwhelm the screen. even selecting with this option, the game is still really hard as usual.

the main downside of using Laser/F-Auto is that laser is now the focus button, same thing for Shot/Laser and F-Auto

i'd recommend anyone starting out to go with Azerlete instead, i did prefer playing as Lemulene although it might've sounds like i'm torturing myself using weak character as my main lol, despite that i still enjoy playing both. Azerlete should be the go for learning to play with TYPE-S before i could move on to Lemulene.

i checked in practice mode just in case other options were unlocked in for example: playing as azerlete in X Difficulty and Rank Y. the game is generous by letting you practice it immediately after buying them from shop right away (ex. easy/normal/arcade vier). so you don't have to go back and reach them again in whatever difficulty and rank you're in except Hard, Nightmare and Pandemonium (you have to buy them again from shop, i guess because the later difficulties has more significant differences than the standard difficulties like easy to arcade.) although rank 0 is the only available option by default, other ranks like 2 or EX must be unlocked first from the main game before you can select them in practice mode, this really doesn't matter if you want to practice vier in rank 0 because the difficulty does not affect her attack and remain unchanged for her, include bullet speed, this also happens to be the same cases with playing on Pandemonium but there are noticeable changes for her attack that are exclusive to the said harder difficulties.

i think this is the first ever video to have a Lemulene run of getting to Vier? haven't seen anyone trying to get to Vier with Lemulene TYPE-C, and not even TYPE-S (too hard, not yet), and i thought i could try it out before grinding on other things in the game. i should check out niconicovideo website, there should be atleast one that is the full game with Lemulene.

i'm using a haute42 t16 for now on, it kind of simulate keyboard movements but it's a fighting stick without the lever, it's worth playing with type-s.

edit 22/7/2024: i made it to Vier with Azerlete Type-C this time but i carefully planned stage 7 routes and learn them from this video with playing Lemulene and then went to playing as Azerlete which makes the game much easier, i still have no idea what am i supposed to do at Vier.

died at the sixth attack of Vier, not that bad, though i wouldn't think much about Vier for now and should focus on farming some coins, the real fun time begin once i got her from shop.
