Stephen Curry: "energetic", "explosive", and not micro-managing
WARRIORS PRACTICE FACILITY, OAKLAND, CA -- Yesterday after the Golden State Warriors practiced, point guard Stephen Curry revealed to reporters how he approaches each game this season.
Curry said he was able to make plays off the catch without having momentum from a head start.
"You've got to square up with a guy being able to take one dribble getting by him get to the paint make a play, being efficient with my dribbles, splitting pick-and-rolls, stuff like that.
Curry added that he doesn't "micro-manage", or plan out, a game and that he looks to attack and be aggressive.
"It's kind of within the flow of the game, which openings you have," Curry said. "I'll have the same mentality on Friday (against the Houston Rockets), but it might come out a different way. I might be more of a playmaker in the true sesnse of the word."
