WARRIORS PRACTICE FACILITY, OAKLAND, CA -- Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers addressed media today at morning shootaround before the season opener of the 2015-16, announcing that contract extension talks with small forward Harrison Barnes have broken off.

"We ended the discussions in a very healthy place," Myers said.

Barnes will become a restricted free agent next July and, with the ability to match any offer, Myers feels confident in retaining Barnes.
