Steven Universe: Attack the Light -- Stage 2-7 (Diamond Mode)
NOTE: That's not a typo in the video title... and it's not a miscount, in case you were keeping track and got worried... Stage 2-2 really DOES lead into 2-7 instead of 2-6 (and the boss stage is obviously 2-5)... not that you can actually tell that this is the case until you verify upon clearing it... and the stage select map only labels it as a "?" either before or after unlocking and even finishing it... so weird! So unhelpful! So... confusing!

Well, all those Red Gemstones they decided to give us between the Strawberry Battlefield will actually allow us unrestricted access to its own secret areas as well, not just the ones we saw in the Indigo Caves (which were both unlocked by the same red door), so... let's have at 'em!

Stage 2-2:
At least being obsessive at the time we first visited this place led to being able to find the secret exits more easily... assuming you don't forget between visits! (I cheated, I was able to watch my own videos to be sure of the quickest path.)

Stage 2-7:
This numerical issue is more than a minor oversight as we'll see, however... this stage has some crazy stuff up its sleeves! ...and, no... I'm not talking about a treasure chest hidden mostly-obscured by trees and bushes... though that IS pretty weird, it's also weird enough to merit tapping on just to see what's up with that spot in the first place.
No, I'm talking about more Green Light Crystal Gem clones! Remember how I said that Green Light Amethyst was a huge threat and needed to be eliminated first? Well, what if there's two of her?! The answer is, obviously, the answer to many other problems: overwhelming physical force to cut our problem in half. Definitely don't let the both of them attack you more times than necessary, because even one failed block against a single one of them will leave the whole team hurting!
Well, at least that's THAT taken care of, I don't think they can reasonably top that anytime soon... ... ... OH COME ON! (Curse you, thumbnail!)
That... is a HUGE Garnet. Also green. (Made of light. Well, the light we're meant to be attacking, anyway... y-y'see... 'cuz... and I... so... ... ...okay, I'll be quiet. Serious mode!)
Welp, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I don't care who you are or how powerful, you do NOT want THAT hitting you. Regular Green Light Garnet was bad enough... how do I not remember this?! Did I blank it from my memory in response to fist-shaped trauma? (Upon reflection and reexamining the facts, it would seem that this is a particularly noticeable Diamond Mode addition, where you just have a regularly large and in-charge Giant Woman.)
After the initial gaping stares and total inability to move upon being confronted with this... I decided that I never wanted to see her take a turn if I could help it... so it's a perfect job for Holo Pearl! Those little guys in the back row are annoying, but they totally lack any capacity for brute force, and I'm quite okay with that.
If we take things down to their absolute most basic level... we don't have enough Star Points to cast Holo Pearl and do much of anything every single turn... fortunately, it would take an insurmountably bad run of luck and complete lack of timing on my part for the duration for that to happen... so... ... ...we're probably okay, right? Good planning and expediently putting the hurt on the little guys certainly can be used to supplement this little scheme, and simplifying the equation will be a must if we're going to survive the Attack of the 50-Foot Woman.
...and then a moment of hubris sets in and you think you can just do whatever you want and then all the things that CAN go wrong suddenly do at the same time... and don't YOU look foolish, even if you'd succeeded at the action commands? ... ... ...yikes.
At least once you learn your lesson, you don't give up an inch again, and you know your initial reaction was correct.
One thing it's important to note is that you can only have up to 9 Star Points stocked at a time... it might LOOK like the counter stops adding to your current total at the start of each turn, and somehow I was under the impression that this would serve as a secondary reserve for more to be added as needed... but the unused ones will simply fade away immediately. So you never want to end a turn with more than 4 Star Points for this very reason.
All right, onward! ... ... ...there's still another secret stage left around here... and the Gauntlet stage. What have I gotten myself in for?
