There is no major, earth shattering catalyst driving this current stock market crash. its being driven by increased 10 year bond yields, increased inflation and possible rising interest rates.
This caused the entire tech sector to fall for the last week or two. However, the energy sector was green for the week. the rising yields has signalled to large funds to re-distribute their portfolio's out of the tech sector and into other, more stable sectors like oil & gas.
As there is no world ruining catalyst, I dont think the current correction will turn into a giant stock market crash like the 2008 recession, the 2000 dot com bubble, the 1987 downturn or the 2020 March pandemic dip.
Therefore, i dont think you should panic and sell of all your stocks. Instead, i think you should remain confident with your stock picks and average them down, you could also sell off some of your less volatile stocks, like amazon and google, and buy stocks that have dipped massively from their highs such as CCIV or BNGO.
CCIV seem to be following the standard SPAC life cycle and Lucid Motors has just announced a partnership with Electrify America, meaning that they wont need to build their own entire network of Superchargers, they will work fluidly with an already existing network.
