12The world isn't exactly a pretty place.
For now though, a peace has been achieved. Less peace, and more a stalemate; the pitiful excuse for an armistice keeping things together is more of a token between Grenary and Egdel. What dim glimmer of hope remains is even shot down just at the very end, as if to herald the grim truth; some conflicts will simply always persist. Still, too, this facade of peace shall persist, for a time.
Even with the passage of time, the scars still loom overhead, ever overbearing. Time is said to heal all wounds, but it does nothing to halt the shadows. And yet, the broken few march on; it's the only thing left to do in a world without a future.
