Stream: Clone Wars Flash games
26Near enough to the 4th of May, I play a selection of Star Wars games archived in BlueMaxima's Flashpoint that are based around the Clone Wars setting. Games played:
-Jetpack Trooper, a short vertical action game that tied into the defunct Clone Wars Adventures MMO.
-Fierce Twilight, a decent horizontal shmup.
-Live Fire, an isometric roaming shooter.
-AT-TE Rescue, a top-down roaming shooter/shooting gallery.
-Lego Star Wars: The Quest for R2-D2, an impressive and expansive action game approximating the console Lego game style. I played just a few levels of the many available.
-The Clone Wars Trivia Game, a very easy game where three of the four answers are completely made up.
-Planetary Forces, a collection of three minigames that can be played as the goodies or baddies, based on the earlier 2D animated Clone Wars project.
-Yoda Battle Slash, a fun action clicker where you jump from droid to droid in the air.
-Sith Assault, a physics puzzler where Maul and Savage Opress somehow break blocks to destroy droids.
-Lego Star Wars: Advent Calendar, a decent platformer with a silly theme: Jango playing Santa. Although he causes a fair bit of mayhem along the way.
-Droids over Iego, a bullet-heavy vertical shmup.
-Sharpshooter Clone Training, a shooting gallery game.
-Aquatic Adventures, another tie-in to the MMO that's a top-down wave shooter.
-The Clone Wars Game Creator, a user-made content platform for making top-down action games, pretty cool concept.
-Showdown, another shooting gallery.
-Air Strike, another vertical shmup similar to Droids over Iego.
-Duel Action Lightsaber Battle, an odd mouse-waggling game that involves a separating lightsaber-dagger design.
-Republic Ace, a more fun vertical shmup than the others.
-Lego Star Wars III The Clone Wars: Yoda's Trailer Hunt, where you watch a trailer and click on things to get factoids.
-Galactic Battle Game, a chance-based game based on a toyline.
-Droid Ambush, another shooting gallery.
-Obi-Wan Kenobi Jedi Attack, an autorunning action game.
