STREET FIGHTER 1 (ATARI ST)
23Zeus presents Street Fighter 1 (un-emulated) for the Atari ST, a duff conversion of a true arcade classic from the golden era of atari st gaming which should be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game.
Year of release: 1988
This was the soul reason i put my speccy 128+1 into retirement back in '88, i had this game on the speccy and saw on the back of the box the screenshot for the Atari St version and thought wow,...it looks arcade perfect, my heart was broken, little did i know the FUCKERS who placed all the adverts in mags and the back of the 8-bit boxes were actually using a screenshot from the arcade version! Surly they should've been sued for false advertisement?! I mean most of us kids at school drooled over the 6-button arcade machine at the time and when we were fooled into the screenshots we were all either selling or putting our beloved 8-bits into retirement so we could save up for an ST just for this game,...FUCKING TIERTEX!!!...WANKERS!!!!!
Anyway, sorry i didn't upload this in full but as i was swapping disks my second-hand ST decided to RIP,...in other words the disk drive died (ironic really, what with being such a naff conversion, the st couldn't take it anymore!).
Anyway, both 16-bit version suck ass, but out of the two i think the ST wins, it even has clouds moving in this one unlike the amiga, maybe the true power of the Amiga was too much for them and the pussied away from it and left us with a dire st port,...PRICKS!
If you want to see it in full, the Amiga version is just identicly bad with even poorer music, i actually prefered the ST music (http://youtu.be/jeHs-J7JeVo).
