maked after 8 years of development by bomberlink at bombergames website, streets of rage remake is an excelent -FREE- fangame that include many things, as:

-remakes of all the 3 streets of rage stages (and new ones)
-remakes of all the games musics (and new ones)
-all the playable characters from the 3 titles (including new moves and new characters)
-5 different 5 endings

and... tons of fun!.

after 20 years of sega completely abandon this games saga, bomberlink and their colaborators release the definitive free fangame...

a tribute to the best street beat em up game. with permision of other classics like final fight, double dragon, cadillac and dinosaurs, alien versus predator and other very good games.

taking other games elements, like can run etc, this game offers tons of fun. not only by the game inselft, also because there exist many mods creating by the community. with new stages, music and story intros.


ps2: -recomendation: play both sorrv4 & sorrv5 cause both are completelly different games

i recomended you to play both versions. streets of rage remake v4 and v5.
why? cause both games are really different. offering you a different gaming experience.

for example: sorrv4 have one super shiva playable char that doents appear on v5. however, v5 have much more stages and playable characters...


ps3: sega and bombergames uggly confrontation. or "how betray an honorable sega fan" :(

bombergames release this free fangame as tribute of an abandoned games saga 20 years ago.
bomberlink creator asked sega for permission some times, receiving no answer.

however... after the fangame become a true success, sega lawyers stars is attack... prohibition the game could be downloaded from their official site.

only 1 month after this, sega show is REAL face.. they wants to sell us one streets of rage 2 iphone version WITHOUT none new thing, just the original game from 1992. along with their sor2 xbox bazar version.

streets of rage remake NEVER was a competitor... because no have profit (is completelly free!) and in fact, was a good way to renewer and give some credit to a completelly abandoned games saga from 20 years ago.


...20 years of release lots of stupid sonics games mostly of them with a very poor quality... :P
(specially compared with the mario games) saving only titles as sonic colours or sonic generations.

and thats was how this "new sega" acting... :(

we remenber the old sega times, responsible of create true jewels of the arcades and consoles. as altered beast, sonic, streets of rage, golden axe, and many others, but this new sega, simply APEST!.


but no matter what the fuck they want... trying to cancel streets of rage remake, they only wins that the free fangame are downloadable on many sites. muhahaha

so, donwload it and simply enjoy :). and fuck they!, the game is already released and is on many places of the net. ;)
