0Stronghold: Definitive Edition is a new release of the classic castlebuilding RTS Stronghold from 2001. As a castle nerd and lifetime member of both Cadw (grants access to English Heritage, Historic Scotland and Manx National Heritage sites, too) and National Trust and someone who just can't drive by a castle without visiting it, it is obviously one of my alltime classic games.
The British developer carefully upgraded the visuals, audio and voiceovers, improving them quite a bit while staying true to the original style. The game features the orginal campaign but also an entirely new campaign for veterans and a castle trail with ten missions. You can just play the economic game, too. There are also a lot of other improvements, for example an optional modern mouse and keyboard layout (e.g. wasd to move the camera), bindable hotkeys, support for modern resolutions, Steam Workshop and more.
This is a Let's Play of the original campaign. A Let's Play of the new campaign, which is designated for veterans, will follow :)
