I had originally hoped to finish all my walkthroughs by the end of year 5, but this one is going to go a little long. I can largely chalk it up to my vanity project of building walls around my stronghold. If I had just homed a bunch of units instead I would have gotten the same results and saved a couple of seasons.

As it is, we are finishing up wave 1 in spring. We build a bridge across the water to save some time getting to a Manscorpion stronghold. In the early game Manscorpions are tough, but at this point they're not a threat, so we don't bother picking off the stragglers and go straight for demolishing the stronghold.

After that we head to the far northeast corner of the map to take down a Griffon stronghold. Again, we can go straight for assaulting the stronghold, and once we demolish it wave 2 appears. A carrion crawler stronghold spawns just a few squares away, so go ahead and attack it before it gets going.

Once that is done, our next target is a Stone Giant stronghold to the south. We end the season assaulting it, and probably will wrap up this walkthrough in summer.
