Struggling In Grade D Tournament With My Maxed Ultimate... (Digimon World)

In this video I am in the second round of a Grade D Tournament, about to battle Palmon after I defeated Agumon in the first round. My Digimon was an ultimate (Etemon) and I had maxed stats (9999 HP, 9999 MP, 999 attack, 999 defence, 999 speed and 999 brains) as well as every technique. The techniques that I had equipped were Thunderbolt and Megalo Spark.
You would expect me to breeze through this tournament; you would expect me to defeat each opponent with a maximum of 1-2 attacks. However, I rather comically had a hard time against the Palmon and it looked at one point like I was at risk of losing the battle.
Palmon dodged my first attack (Thunderbolt) while striking me with Tear Drop, flattening me. She then struck me with Poison Claw while I was flattened, poisoning me. After becoming unflattened I tried to strike Palmon with Megalo Spark but she blocked this. I tried again with Megalo Spark but she interrupted this with Tear Drop, flattening me for a second time. By this point we were a third of the way through the battle. I was losing HP to the poison and was not in a position to do damage while flattened. This was the part where I became genuinely concerned about the possibility of losing, and was chuckling at how badly I was doing and the concept of possibly losing against such an inferior opponent in such an inferior tournament. I was worried that Palmon might continue to evade my attacks and continue to flatten me and that my HP would continue to be drained by the poison. However, after becoming unflattened I did strike Palmon with two consecutive Megalo Sparks, defeating her. There were 44 seconds remaining by this point. I was genuinely relieved when winning against her; this battle did cause me a genuine scare.
This video clip was taken from a challenge that I uploaded back in 2015. It was a challenge where I had to collect all fifteen medals while not being allowed to use the gym, not being allowed to use any stat-boosting items and being very limited with how I could use Monzaemon. I was only allowed to use Monzaemon in order to talk to the Robot Digimon in Toy Town so that he would unlock the door which leads towards WaruMonzaemon, which is needed in order for you to be able to battle WaruMonzaemon and recruit Monzaemon. I wasn't allowed to do anything else with Monzaemon other than speak to the Robot Digimon and get the door unlocked; I couldn't even defeat WaruMonzaemon with Monzaemon and instead had to return for WaruMonzaemon with a different Digimon. I put this restriction in place because Digivolving to Monzaemon and completing much of the game with him as my Digimon could've been seen as a cheap way of getting an ultimate Digimon and a big stat boost.
Even though this challenge was some years ago, I wanted to include a separate video of myself struggling against the Palmon in a Grade D Tournament, because on reflection I find it to be highly comical.
