3In this episode, now that we can sail, we finally make it to Two River City—but things aren’t as simple as they seem. The city is split into three districts, each home to a different race, and none of them really trust each other.
Of course, Highland takes full advantage of this. They start spreading lies, playing the factions against one another. Eventually, they set a trap, targeting the humans and breaking the already fragile alliance between them and the Kobolds. It’s looking bad, but at the last moment, we manage to pull everyone together and expose Highland’s trickery, uniting the city against them.
But Highland doesn’t take failure lightly. Luca Blight is furious—he immediately removes the general in charge. And that’s when Jowy steps in, rising even higher in the Highland ranks. His climb to power is really starting to take shape...

Suikoden II (1998) is a JRPG by Konami for the PlayStation and a direct sequel to Suikoden (1995). Set in the war-torn Dunan region, it follows the protagonist and his best friend Jowy as they end up on opposing sides of a brutal conflict. The game builds on its predecessor’s turn-based combat, large-scale battles, and the “108 Stars of Destiny” recruitment system. Praised for its emotional storytelling and deep political narrative, Suikoden II initially had a modest release but later gained cult status as one of the greatest RPGs of all time.
