SUIKODEN II (#2 - Window of Opportunity) - Sloth Plays
0Riou and company must return to Muse, but the guards aren't allowing visitors without a Pass. Fortunately, the proprietors of a nearby Inn have one they can spare. In exchange, the group must help treasure fanatic Alex acquire treasure from the nearby Sindar Ruins.
After our escapades in the Ruins, we get the Pass and head to Muse to speak with Lady Anabelle, hoping Muse will join us against Highland. A meeting of the nation leaders ensues, where nobody can agree on what to do about the approaching Highland army. Solon Jhee's unit marches on Muse City only to be deterred by Riou's company. Shortly after, Jowy discreetly assassinates Anabelle in the dead of night, apparently now a spy for Highland.
With Anabelle dead and the Army mounting for another attack on Muse, Riou and friends are forced to flee once more, taking a boat across the water to South Window. Lord Granmeyer asks us to investigate North Window Village, Viktor's former hometown, as they have lost touch and nobody knows what's happened to them. Viktor and the others discover it's the vampire Neclord, who survived his previous defeat, and is turning North Window into his lair to feed on humans, and create a zombie army.
