0After a long wait, it's finally here - the prequel game to Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes!
Serving as an introduction to the Eiyuden world, you play as an eager young scavenger named CJ, searching for a treasure worthy of bringing home to her family.
After rescuing a friendly lizard named Hogan from bandits, CJ is brought to New Nevaeh, a small quarry-mining town, where adventurers have begun to gather. Rumors say the locals have found a path into the old Runebarrows underground, and the promise of loot has 'outlanders' arriving in droves.
To facilitate the influx of new faces, the town's acting mayor, Isha, has come up with a method of taxation on rare finds in the Barrows, along with a favor system. Adventurers are tasked to collect stamps from locals in exchange for favors, and if they collect enough, they can waive the license fee to mine in the Quarry.
The excitable CJ finds herself warming to New Nevaeh as she completes requests and collects stamps, eventually befriending a greatsword-wielder named Garoo in the process. Yet many secrets may lay hidden, not just in the town itself, but in its residents as well...
