Super Bowling 64 for the Nintendo 64. 2001. Skinner and A-Bomb.
We took this Nintendo 64 rarity for a spin after having some fun with Stunt Racer 64. Released in 2001, it didn't see a lot of sales and is pretty hard to find now. I picked up this copy upon release at a mall in Pittsburgh, PA. A few years later Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead was filmed there. A lot of horror movies have been filmed in Pittsburgh, but this horror show was made in Ohio. We played some kind of battle mode, mostly on a garage course that didn't have gutters. You lose if a danger marker makes it to the fault line and all I know is that A-Bomb wouldn't share the controls he figured out and somehow managed to get five strikes in a row at one point. In addition to many other strikes. Nevertheless, it's a pretty low-key game and is kind of relaxing if someone will tell you what controls they have figured out. A-Bomb gave it pretty good scores, based in no part on the large number of strikes he got.
Thanks to PWEI for the intro/outro music.
