Been working on a lot of stuff behind the scenes. First, let's go over the revamped hitbox system.

I have redone how hitbox collision works to be closer to how modern engines handle them. After every instance runs their code for the frame, every possible hitbox collision is tested. If an instance has an "active" hitbox (signaled by an A) it will check surrounding instances for any "passive" hitboxes that can be collided with. Think of it as hitboxes and hurtboxes. There is a third type, "inactive", which is not checked for at all.

Anyway, here's some new stuff. Star Arrows can be found in the 2016 Super Freaks demo and simply yeet you in the direction they're facing. Unlike before, I can now set how fast and how far you get propelled from them. Another new thing are Climbing Meshes. This is a thing I've never coded before! You can press up against one to begin climbing. Some meshes fall after you grab onto them. I'll probably color these ones differently or something.
