Ported by Solid Software and published by THQ, this Game Boy port of Battlezone is mostly impressive from a technological standpoint. It plays nothing like the arcade original, being much easier overall. The graphics look best when played on an original DMG Game Boy, as playing them on the Super Game Boy or through emulation causes a rather unpleasant flickering effect. Super Breakout is pretty self-explanatory, this port also being reconstructed for Game Boy but different from the standalone version released in 1998 by Majesco.

Starting at roughly 8 minutes into the video is a showcase of the three hidden Easter eggs in the game. I imagine that last one must have freaked out more than a few kids in the 90s, unless they happened to have a copy of Tool's Undertow...
