After a bit of a hiatus, the Console Comparison series has returned with Area 51! The first 5 minutes of the video go through the attract sequences of both versions, then the remainder of the video showcases the first two areas of game play.


No editing was done once I start the first level, which I made sure to start both at the same time. Both ports seem to phase in and out of sequence with one another which I found rather fascinating.


If I had to choose a version, I'd probably go with the PSX port due to full screen graphics as well as PSX mouse support. The Saturn port holds it's own though and plays just as smoothly.


All games are captured from actual consoles using actual game copies. I use LevelHike's HDMI cables for both systems, which takes the RGB signal and converts and upscales it to 720p.
