With another video behind us, we dive further into the plethora of stages that I've been needing to do for at least a few months now. Unfortunately there aren't any polls for stripper names or mint gum in this one, sorry about that folks.

The idea is simple. Make a custom map on Brawl, send it to me (details below), and I'll make a video featuring it. I wouldn't quite call it a "review" of the maps because I'm not rating anything (nor do I want to). I just think it'd be cool to see custom maps that players have thrown together out of their creativity.

Now, regarding the "send it to me" part, it's a little tricky. As far as I know, there are three possible methods: (1) sending it through the Wii's network, (2) copying the files from your Wii onto your computer using an SD card and sending it to me by using a file-hosting site like MegaFire.com and sending me the link in a private message, or (3) using a freeware program called Stage Studio to build a map on your computer and send it to me by hosting it on a file-hosting site like MediaFire.com and sending me a download link.

The first method is pretty easy. If you're on both my Wii Address List AND my Brawl Friends List, then you can just go to your map on the custom map editor, select it, and choose to send it to me. Please let me know if you send me something using this method so that I know about it quicker (unfortunately I don't quite have the time to use my Wii daily, so this way I'll hear about it sooner). If you're having trouble getting your code to register with mine, then we'll need to both be online at the same time at least once in order for the registration to complete, so if you plan on using this method be sure to let me know when you're usually online so that we can get each other fully registered. Note that if we aren't Wii and Brawl friends yet, then we'll have to share both of our friend codes and have each other in our friend lists (I have my info listed under my channel description). I would also appreciate it if you could tell me your Brawl nickname so that I'll know which YouTube user name corresponds to which Brawl nickname once everything is all set up.

The second method, however, requires a little silliness. First off, you'll need an SD card. Just a regular, good old-fashioned SD card. You'll also need a way to get the files from your SD card onto your computer. Most computers come with an SD card slot, which would do just fine. If yours doesn't, then you'll need an adapter for your SD card. Here's the one that I use: http://www.amazon.com/Dynex-Memory-Reader-Writer-DX-CRMN1/dp/B0010W8F8G/ref=pd_sxp_f_pt

I'm not too sure why this one only has a 3/5 rating, it's worked fine for me so far. There are plenty of other SD adapters out there, but this is the one that I found at Best Buy a while back so I figured I'd mention it.

Now admittedly, I have never uploaded a map from my SD card onto my computer so I can't really say much, but here's a link that describes how to copy a custom stage from your Wii onto your SD card pretty clearly under the "Uploading A Stage" section: http://supersmashbros.ign.com/articles/features/62/How-to-Share-Stages/

Note that this is a very cool site with a bunch of user-submitted Brawl maps and a pretty good community, so if you're curious about looking into picking up some custom maps for yourself you should check it out.

As I said I don't have much experience with this method myself so I'm afraid that I won't be of much help if you run into trouble. However, the message boards at the site would probably be of more use so I'd recommend hitting that place up if you have any problems.

The third method seems easy enough, but I've never actually used this program before so I can't guarantee anything. I certainly like the idea of a stage-building tool that offers more freedom than the built-in stage builder in Brawl, but the program itself is only in a Beta-release, meaning that it isn't officially finished yet. Again, I emphasize that the reliability of this program may or may not be questionable, but I'd say it'd definitely be worth a shot. Here's a link to info about the program, as well as the message board on which it is based where people may seek help: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=217759
