There are still some levels left in World 2, and we get a bunch of Galoombas blocking the way, otherwise known as the Super Mario World Goombas, then we get introduced to a new item called the Double Cherry where using it will create a copy of the player, and Boom Boom makes an appearance.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Starting this video is the Enemy Blockade of World 2, and you go up against three Big Galoombas, and this is the first game where they are named Galoombas, as they were just called Goombas in Super Mario World, and the name change is to tell them apart from the normal Goombas.
Before then I decided to take on the Mystery House for that level, called Mystery House Melee, and the enemies you will need to defeat in that Mystery House are in order, Galoombas, Koopa Troopas, Cat Goombas, Conkdors, and Fire Bros., you will earn 5 Green Stars for each enemy group defeated.
Then we find a new item called the Double Cherry, which creates a copy of the character who grabbed that item, and the power-up name for Mario when he uses the Double Cherry is Double Mario. The most clones you can have is 5 in this level, and you will need 4 to get the Multi-Vator to go up and get the last Green Star. This level has some enemies called Blocksteppers who appear in groups and if one is defeated will cause the group to scatter, making it harder to defeat them if you don't have a Fire Flower.
The last level is Bowser's Bullet Bill Brigade, which introduces a new power-up called the Cannon Box where you can fire cannonballs at enemies, and it will be more powerful if you hold down the X or Y button on the Wii U Gamepad, this is an auto-scrolling tank level, and the boss of this world is Boom Boom, and I like how I named the title "Boom Boom Spins In", because that would be Boom Boom's tagline if he was ever confirmed as a playable character in a Smash Bros. trailer, but I don't think it is that likely we will see Boom Boom playable in a Super Smash Bros. game. Like in Super Mario 3D Land, Boom Boom attacks by spinning and you have to jump on his head three times to defeat him.
At the end of the video, I decided to go back to Puffrod Peaks to get the gold flag for that level, and it can be very tough if you don't use the Cat Suit or Peach's float ability, as those are the easiest ways you can get to the highest point of the flag.
