Welcome back to Super Mario Maker 2. As per the norm I worked on my Normal Endless rank a bit and did some viewer levels. This time though I did something I hadn't done before: multiplayer. I don't typically do multiplayer with viewers while streaming (in fact, the Switch is the only system I don't mind exchanging friend codes with viewers: Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam I typically only accept friend requests from people I know IRL), but I decided to give it a shot this time...and learned why I normally don't.

While I did have a fun time doing some racing and co-op stages with the viewer, the lag on my end was quite noticeable. Though not unplayable, it was to be expected as I've seen others online play with some lag, plus I'm on what I like to call "Small Town Internet" (it's Spectrum but I live in a small town, so...), so Small Town Internet + streaming + online gameplay = a good amount of annoying lag. After the stream (which I had to restart everything part-way in since I needed to change one of Streamlabs's settings) I did a four-player matchmaking co-op level and got about the same amount of lag as I did two-player while streaming. Maybe at some point I may do some online Smash or Mario Kart, but online Mario Maker 2 is probably not the greatest idea in my streaming situation.
