0Part Synopsis: Confronting Croco, he has a few new tactics available, although isn't any more formidable from before. Getting frustrated at being attacked, he returns the stolen money and a microbomb is also obtained. Going back to Pa Mole, the blocked passage is opened up using the explosive. He leaves Mario to save his kids.
Further in, a boss starts in with the group to improve his clout, or something... More of a nuisance than a threat, summoning numerous bombs doesn't help his situation. It ends up being his undoing. Surviving a near death experience, the third star is jarred loose and obtained. Dyna and Mite are fine in the next room. The three ride a trolley out of the mines, back to the children's home.
Three Snifsters chasing a beetle give a clue on where Peach is. Mario converses with the other citizens before passing through Booster Pass, making it to Booster Tower. Bowser is here, with no means of fighting against Smithy as his armed forces fled. Learning Peach is being held captive, he teams up with Bowser and the group gain entry inside.
Playthrough Information: This is my first time experiencing the remake. I have already played the original Super Mario RPG on original SNES hardware and replayed the version featured on the SNES Mini for the channel as a let's play. I wanted to go through the remake for entertainment purposes. So I'm not referring to this as blind, since I'll be entirely familiar with the story and features of the original.
Anything new for this edition will be unknown to me. I will be playing on Normal difficulty. Any extra additions to the remake will be looked into such as the Boss Rush mode. Other side activities are also open to being covered, although certain specific things may be overlooked for any possible reason. All videos will include commentary and webcam usage, filmed in 1080p. About Game: Super Mario RPG is a Nintendo Switch remake of the 1996 Super Nintendo Entertainment System game Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars released worldwide on November 17, 2023. First announced during the June 2023 Nintendo Direct, this remake reimagines the original game in full 3D graphics, mostly maintaining the original characters' designs and proportions. The game's soundtrack has also been rearranged with new orchestration by the original game's composer, Yoko Shimomura. It was developed by ArtePiazza, a studio associated with Square Enix and known for their work on remaking entries in the Dragon Quest series.
