Ninja Jajamaru-kun was a very popular franchise in Japan, bakc in the 1980s. The first game sold more than a million copies on the Famicom, and spawned several sequels that America never saw.
Super Ninja Kid, despite its generic title, never got an American release on the Super Nintendo. It's just as well; this unremarkable side scrolling platformer didn't have much to offer, apart from couch co-op.
