Ice Age : Dawn of the Dinosaurs the Video Game Gameplay chapter 14 - Flight of the Pterodactyl
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (or Ice Age 3) is a video game based on the movie with the same name. It was released on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, Playstation 2, Nintendo DS, and PC by Activision on June 30, 2009, 1 day before the movie's release. It is the sequel to the Ice Age 2 video game.
Most of the cast from the movie voiced the characters in the game, with the exceptions of Denis Leary, Simon Pegg, and Sean William Scott.
The game allows the player to take control of Manny, Sid, Diego, Scrat, Scratte, and Buck as you take on or run away from dangerous dinosaurs, roll an egg to safety, chase for your beloved acorn, and explore caves and jungles over fifteen levels. However, some characters are just for tiny parts in the game, like Manny and Diego. The main character in the game is Buck. There are eight mini-games to play either in single-player mode or with friends in multiplayer and get things from Fast Tony. In multiplayer mode, you can play as Mini-sloths and Baby Dinos. There are three different bosses in the game: Ankylosaurus, Chasmosaurus, and Rudy.
Buck, Crash, and Eddie are going to save Sid but how will they get to Sid quickly? Buck brings the two to the place where Pterodactyls are and he picked the one with the pale body. Crash and Eddie noticed the other Pterodactyls chasing them. While Buck shoots the Pterodactyls with a peashooter in the middle of the flight, Crash and Eddie can only help by throwing down round fruit on the enemy below (Basically watermelon fruit is thrown down on enemies below them but the question is....how did they get that fruit? In the movie, they have to take a grape-like fruit from a nearby tree on the way but in the game, they just magically have access to the fruit and the fruit has nothing to do with the dino-era world they are in right now. Buck himself magically has access to the peashooter that he never had while on land. Game logic is weird). First is lava then they are getting closer to the waterfall level. Hmm...this is the only time where there are 2 levels of continuing chase and keep shooting! moment like this. The next level takes place inside the damn waterfall there
Note: I was preparing for Lego Star Wars: the Skywalker Saga video so I had to post this while waiting for the video editor to finish making it after I edited the raw recording. The raw took 33 GB size of my hard drive and it was only 6 hours of play time. I need to get rid of the raw faster so it doesn't take too much space of my poor hard drive
